We'll see you at PAWmicon!

Here in San Diego, one of the big events of the year is Comic-Con International, but for those of us who love dogs, that's just a footnote compared to the real event: PAWmicon! Every year, the Helen Woodward Animal Center hosts PAWmicon with two important goals: raising money and letting people show off their pups in adorable costumes.

Unfortunately, as you can imagine, it's just not possible to have this kind of event in the midst of a pandemic, but the folks at Helen Woodward haven't thrown in the towel; instead, they've gone virtual! While those of us here at Cooper's Treats are bummed not to be able to go in person, we're thrilled that it's now open to anyone in the world.

There'll be plenty of cute dogs in costume at the cosplay contest, plus panel discussions, trivia, a digital scavenger hunt and web virtual reality experiences. If you're looking for a great activity with your pup that you can do safely from the comfort of your home, this is it! PAWmicon is happening on July 7th and 8th, and it's not too late to get yourself a ticket (and remember, the proceeds go to a great cause). If you still need motivation, we'll be raffling off a Starter Kit at our virtual vendor booth, and lots of other great dog brands will be there doing raffles and offering discounts.
