We started Cooper's Treats because it gets toasty here in San Diego, and we wanted to give Cooper something cold and delicious to snack on. We went through dozens of frozen treat recipes, but they were all made with either fruit or peanut butter. Cooper refuses to eat fruit, and unfortunately after having taken his flea pills with peanut butter for the last few years, he's developed an aversion to it and runs the other way when he smells it.

So with that in mind, we set out to make a treat with the one thing Cooper loves - meat! After plenty of experimentation, we found that putting freeze dried meat into a food processor gave us a meat powder that we could mix with water for a frozen treat that Coop loved! Unfortunately, we also found out that putting freeze dried meat in a food processor leaves your entire kitchen coated in a thin layer of meat dust, but that's our burden to bear so that your pup can have delicious treats!

We spent weeks trying other ingredients and combinations until we finally found the flavors you can now buy from us here. We're thrilled that so many folks have already purchased our Pupsicle mix for their dogs and that they've given us so much kind feedback.

If you haven't tried Cooper's Treats yet, we certainly hope you will! Because they're made with real meat, they're full of protein and great for your pup. They're also incredibly easy to make - just add water to our mix, stir and freeze. If you've got kids, making a batch of our Pupsicles is a fun family activity that will help them bond with your pups!

We hope you'll give our treats a try! If you have any questions, comments or feedback, we would absolutely love to hear from you at coopersdogtreats@gmail.com.
